{Theme Party Tuesday} Glam Rockstar

Last summer I had the privilege of working on a dessert table for precious little rock star Reese.

As soon as the order was confirmed I got busy working on all of the components, including the above Platinum CD "Birthday" Award.  

The birthday girl requested some of my favorite things... purple, pink and lots of glitz & bling!  

I had an old guitar hero guitar that no longer worked and I decided to repurpose it.  I sprayed it with a pink glitter paint  and embellished it with rhinestones.  I also had some wooden hearts which I painted and added some bling to.  These made awesome glam guitar picks.  On one of my weekly trips to JoAnn Fabrics I found some sparkly fabric in the remnant bin, which made the perfect back drop.

I also designed a printable GLAM ROCK collection which includes: table tents, banner and custom CD cover.  Other pieces will be coming soon (invite, favor tags, party circles and thank you cards) and all will be available for sale in my etsy shop.

All of the sweets were made to match the style & design of the table, incorporating pinks, purples, black & white and zebra stripes.  Including the custom cake designed and made by yours truly!

Overall the party rocked and the birthday girl was a truly glamourous little rockstar!
